Multifunction Axes Controller development and production
The Multifunction Axes Controller devices are equipped with PLCs to program the movement and positioning of the moving parts of an industrial machine on one or more axes so as to regulate their operation. To this end, they are equipped with memory and programming systems that make it possible to develop management interfaces to give the industrial operator complete control of the machinery; the most recent models have extensive resources—internal relays, fronts, data registers—and facilitate the creation of PLC applications.
Operation
The multi-function axes controller functions are based on the PLC software programming. By means of the operator interface, which is entirely customisable also in terms of the graphics for maximum ease of use, these devices allow to manage the movements on one or more axes, integrating with industrial machinery via various communication protocols, such as Modbus RTU and CANopen. A serial line then offers direct connection to the industrial PC.
Applications
The applications of multi-function axes controllers fulfil multiple purposes, as every kind of industrial sector requires regulation in the movement and positioning of the processing tools. PLC programming also allows extremely accurate and tailored control, which is necessary both in dimension measuring and in process controls (including pressure, weight and temperature) and in single-axis positioning.
